Vermont Maple Syrup – It’s All Grade A

True maple lovers have always known this to be true but, as of 2014 All Vermont Syrup is Grade A! Some of you older maple lovers may remember a different grade system so we wanted to let you know about the new system. You can read even more about it and maple in general at vermontmaple.org.

Grade A Golden Delicate

Golden Color
Delicate Flavor

Golden Delicate is typically produced at the beginning of the maple sugaring season, during the colder months. Best for traditional use, drizzled over pancakes, waffles, oatmeal and yogurt.

Grade A Amber Rich

Amber Color
Rich Flavor

Possibly the most popular, Amber Rich is produced during the middle of the maple sugaring season. It has a smooth more rounded flavor, great for traditional uses but also try in coffee, tea, and cocktails.

Grade A Dark Robust

Dark Color
Robust Flavor

As the maple season progresses, the syrup darkens in color and yields a more robust maple flavor. Perfect for use in meat glazes, marinades, salad dressing and vegetables.

Grade A Darker Storng

Darker Color
Strong Flavor

Produced at the end of the maple sugaring season, the strong maple taste is excellent for use in baked goods, bread and baked beans.
